I was born and raised in India. I came to the US in 1997. I have a college degree in Electronics Engineering. I decided not to work in my Engineering field and pursue my hobbies instead.
I started making cloth dolls in 2006. As a little child I loved sewing doll clothes and even dreamed of making my own cloth dolls someday. Cloth dolls have always held a special place in my heart. 
I live with my husband, son (who is my most precious doll) and our golden retriever dog near Seattle, Washington and enjoy making cloth dolls in my free time. I have sold several dolls online. Apart from doll making, I also enjoy painting and occasionally paint. I am a self taught doll-maker. Painting and sewing were always my passion and it was great combining the two in cloth doll making. 
My dolls have been published in the Soft Dolls & Animals! magazine and also the Hoffman Challenge catalog of 2010.  My dolls have traveled in doll shows and expos throughout the US and a few places in Canada.

I will be writing mostly about dolls and art, and topics related to those. However from time to time you may find articles on various other topics such as pets, children, food, fitness and travel.
